Implant is a light and strong screw system containing the corrosion-resistant, grayish transition metal titanium for use in cases where a prosthesis is required in patients with missing teeth. These implants will be inserted in the jawbone and act as if they are a teeth roots. In case of a single missing tooth, it is possible to insert an implant without touching the adjacent healthy teeth. In patients with multiple tooth deficiencies, missing teeth can be completed, whereas fixed dentures can be used instead of removable dentures. It becomes difficult to use this kind of prosthesis in patients with no teeth, particularly in the lower jaw. It can be ensured that the removable dentures that constantly come out and are prone to this will remain fixed by means of using implants.

The tooth undergone a root canal treatment can continue to function for a lifetime with good care and controls at regular intervals. Since there is no pulp tissue left in these teeth, they cannot repair themselves and may become brittle. For this reason, a veneer application will extend the lifespan of the tooth.

After the teeth are cleaned of tartar and stains, they are whitened either with the help of a special gel and light source (led, laser) at the dentist’s office, or at home by using the plaques specially made for the patient by the dentist and sometimes by applying both methods together.

There is no obstacle o apply the dental bleaching process on smokers. Only the permanence of the obtained color will be shorter compared to other non-smoking patients.

Paying attention to some issues after this treatment will both accelerate healing and prolong the lifespan of the tooth. The points to be considered can be listed as follows:

The lifespan of dental teeth is as long as that of your natural teeth. The better the care of the mouth and teeth, the longer you will be able to use them.
